Create Memories Always ♥

Authentique Paper and Maya Road are teaming up this week to bring you tons of inspiration using Authentique Paper and Maya Road products! I am so excited to get to be a part of this!

I have fallen in love with the new Carefree collection from Authentique. Isn't it beautiful? I really love that the orange colors are not your traditional orange, but more of a deep orange, almost a blood orange color. Something about this collection just makes me happy. Maybe the fact that I associate pretty orange colors with Summer? It can't seem to get here soon enough!

Another thing that I have recently fallen in love with are Maya Road's Canvas albums. I was always afraid to pick up a canvas album for the fact that I didn't really know where to begin. I conquered my fear by spritzing a few colors mist onto the canvas and went from there. The possibilities with the canvases are endless. This particular album I loved because it had the fun little pockets. I decided to add one to the front to give the album a little something extra.

Here's a peek at the inside pages:

The inside pages are made of a really nice thick chipboard. There is also another little canvas pocket inside.

Thanks for stopping by today! ♥

Make sure you stop by the Authentique & Maya Road blogs all week to see fabulous project inspiration from the design teams!

5 Things I ♥ About You

What a lazy Sunday it's been for me! I've had allergies bugging me all weekend so I decided to take it easy! However, I am managing to get this post finished because I really want to share this mini album that I made this week!

The first monthly Challenge is going on over on the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog, the challenge is Black, White, & one accent color. When I saw the challenge I immediately thought HELLO! Yellow!!! I am on a yellow kick lately, maybe because I'm anxious for sunshine & summertime?

I used the "Carolina Breeze" collection from Teresa Collins. I have been holding on to this paper for a little while now because I knew I wanted to use it for some of my black & white wedding photos. I was married on the beach in North Carolina, so of coarse the papers went hand in hand with my photos!

The little envelopes & the title on the front of the album are from the Little Yellow Bicycle Swoon collection. They are the "5 Things Envelopes" which are really awesome to use in mini albums! They have these in each of their collections, so so cute!

I used a lot of various "Petite Type" stickers from Authentique throughout the album. These come in handy! Great for subtitles & little words!

Make sure you also check out my post on the Basically Bare blog from earlier in the week! I used tons of Basically Bare products, including the album itself!

Thanks for stopping by today! ♥

ScrapbookSteals Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Scrapbook Steals blog hop! If you came here from Jennifer McDermot's blog today, you're on the right track... if not, make sure you start and the Scrapbook Steals blog, you don't want to miss any of the inspiration being showcased today!

Today's "steal" is the My Minds Eye: Miss Caroline 6x6 pads. These are all so darling! I am featuring the "Dolled Up" papers in my project.

This started as a mini album, but instead, I wanted to turn it into a pretty little banner for my daughter Reagan's room. The colors were so beautiful and they matched her room decor perfectly!

I used the Maya Road Sakura accordion album, these albums are so easy to turn into banners and soooo cute!

I also added tons of lovely embellishments as well as some pretty May Arts ribbons.

Thanks for stopping by today! Now hop along and see what Brenda Smith has to share today!

Once you are finished hopping, don't forget to stop by the Scrapbook Steals site and pick up some Miss Caroline paper pads for yourself!

Authentique April Sketch Challenge

It's that time again! Time for the April Sketch Challenge over on the Authentique Blog! Make sure you stop by there to play along this month!

This months sketch was created by yours truly :-)

I completely flipped my layout compared to the sketch. I did this because the direction of my photo was pointing the other way and I wanted the layout to flow with the photo.

I just ♥ the Blissful collection from Authentique! The colors in this line are so bright and colorful, I just love to bring out the splash of pink in it! I picked up the pretty butterflies last weekend at CKC Louisville, I can't remember what the booth was where I got them, but they had soooo many colors, so pretty!

This is yet another layout using a photo from my wedding, so I tried to be clever with the date {9-17-10} by using my Heart 25 shape tool by Ephiphany Crafts.

Thanks for stopping by today! ♥

Sweet Stamp Shop New Release Blog Hop Day 3

Welcome to the final day of Sweet Stamp Shop's April Release! Have you had fun so far? If you came here from the Sweet Stamp Shop blog today, you're on the right track!

Some of you may have seen today's release already... or, if you're a member of the Paper Made Bakery kit club, you might already have this one! Either way, you SHOULD own it, this set is a must have!

I made a sweet little card with the Old Fashioned Afternoon stamp set. I love everything about this stamp set, but the key just popped out to me! I used some lovely May Arts Ribbon and of coarse Timeless Twine on this card :-)

I'm a culprit of spending tons of $ on 3d embellishments, so I wanted to try it myself and see if I could make my own. So so so simple! All you need is a stamp and some 3d pop dots! Stamp the image a couple of times, cut it out, and layer each image on top of the other!

Now hop along and see what sweet Savannah has in store for today!

When you're done with the hop, make sure you stop by the Sweet Shop to pick up all of the new release stamps! You can use coupon code AR15 for 15% off of the new releases!

Here's the order of today's hop:

Sweet Stamp Shop New Release Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Sweet Stamp Shop's April release! If you came from the Sweet Stamp Shop blog, you're on the right track!

For today's project, I made something kind of simple. A few weeks ago I was at a scrapbooking expo teaching make & takes, so one of the make & takes is where this project came from...

It's a pre-made journaling spot for a page! How simple, right? These are great to have already made and all you have to do is grab one and slap it on your page!

I used the new release set called Happy Bugs on this project. This stamp set is sooo cute! I have tons of photos of my daughter from her first 3 Halloween's, she was a different bug for each one so I know I will get lots of use from this set!

Now hop along and see what Jamie has in store for today!

Sweet Stamp Shop New Release Blog Hop Day 1

Happy Monday everyone! Boy are you in for a treat today! Yes, it's that time again, time for Sweet Stamp Shop's April Release! If you came from the Sweet Stamp Shop blog, you're on the right track!

Now I'm not a huge fan of sports, but I think that it's wonderful to see all of the team spirit when it comes down to the championship games every season. I live in southern Ohio, and around here, all you see is BLUE! I live about an hour north of Lexington, Kentucky, so it's UK all the way here!

With that said, I thought this little card was appropriate for today since the big game is tonight. Again, not a sports fan at all, but I am secretly hoping for a UK win :-)

I used the Sports Fever stamp set along with one of the new release sets called Across The Miles. I LOVE this set! I think you all will too!

Now hop along and see what the lovely Joleen has in store for you today!

And if you get lost along the way, here's the lineup of the hop:
